access-building-imageDetroit HealthLink recently received a $99,000+ Health Education and Community Benefit Grant from the DMC Foundation/Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan to extend the HealthLink Model to Arab American communities in partnership with ACCESS in Dearborn  MI.  ACCESS will host a Cancer Action Council (CAC) that will meet monthly and work with staff from ACCESS and Karmanos Cancer Institute to identify cancer-related research priorities.  The CAC will then collaborate with Karmanos researchers to move research ideas forward.  Look out soon for applications for the new CAC!  For more information, contact Dr. Hayley Thompson at thompsoh@karmanos.org.
